Welcome to FreeCall. By using our website, mobile app, or any related services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptable Use & User Conduct
To keep the platform safe and lawful, you must not use FreeCall to:
- Prohibited content: Conduct or promote illegal activity; harass, bully, or threaten others; share hate speech or discrimination; or share sexually explicit material.
- Safety & security: “Zoom bomb” or disrupt meetings, record other participants without their consent, attempt to bypass security or gain unauthorized access to calls or systems, or impersonate others.
- Minors: You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. Users under that age may only use FreeCall with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.
2. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
Your content: You keep ownership of the content you share (video, audio, chat, and files). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit, store, and process that content only as needed to provide and operate the Service (e.g. real-time delivery, temporary technical handling). We do not claim ownership of your content.
Our app and branding: The FreeCall software, design, branding, and all related code and materials are owned by SOWFTE Digital Innovations (or our licensors). You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from our software or use our branding without written permission.
3. Privacy & Data Handling
FreeCall is a free service. We are transparent about how we operate:
- Data we may collect: To run the Service we may collect or process data such as IP address, device type, call duration, room identifiers, and usage information. Our lawful basis for processing (where applicable) includes contract performance, legitimate interests, and, where required, consent.
- GDPR: If you are in the UK or EEA, we process personal data in line with applicable data protection laws. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details and contact information.
- Recording: If the Service allows recording, the person who starts the recording is responsible for obtaining consent from all participants. Unauthorized recording may breach laws; we are not responsible for how users use recording features.
4. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
“As-is” service: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific quality, or fitness for any particular purpose. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Cap on damages: Because the Service is free, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to £50 (fifty pounds sterling) or the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. (For free users, that amount is zero.) We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Third-party faults: We are not liable for failures or issues caused by your internet connection, your device, third-party networks, or third-party hosting or infrastructure we use to run the Service.
5. Termination & Changes
Our right to terminate: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for operational or legal reasons.
Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
6. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
Contact: For questions about these Terms, contact us at info@sowfte.com or at SOWFTE Digital Innovations, +447831089629.
